Please read these terms carefully before using Rich Wash services.
01. Service Agreement
By placing an order with Rich Wash (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our"), whether via our website, telephone, or in-person at any of our outlets (Nugegoda, I.D.H, Kohuwala, Kottawa, Maharagama, Mirihana, Nawinna, Pannipitiya, Piliyandala), the customer (hereinafter referred to as "you") agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
02. Garment Care & Processing
We use high-quality, biodegradable chemicals (sourced from S&D Associates, Bio Nutri, etc.) and state-of-the-art machinery. We exercise the utmost care in cleaning your garments according to the care label instructions.
- Stain Removal: While we employ advanced spotting techniques for stain removal, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains. We will not proceed with aggressive treatment if we believe it will damage the fabric.
- Manufacturer Defects: We are not responsible for damage resulting from inherent weaknesses in the material, such as sun fading, color bleeding due to poor dye quality, or shrinkage in fabrics not suitable for washing/dry cleaning despite our adherence to care labels.
- Accessories: We are not liable for damage to buttons, buckles, zippers, sequins, beads, or other ornaments that cannot withstand standard industrial cleaning processes.
03. Loss, Damage & Personal Items
Check Your Pockets: Please ensure all pockets are empty before handing over laundry. Rich Wash is not responsible for money, jewelry, watches, pens, or other valuables left in pockets. Furthermore, we are not responsible for damage caused to your clothes by items left in pockets (e.g., ink form pens, lipstick, tissues).
Lost or Damaged Items: In the unlikely event that an item is lost or damaged while in our care, and Rich Wash accepts liability, compensation shall be limited to the fair depreciated value of the item, or a maximum of 5 times the cleaning cost of that specific item, whichever is lower. This is a standard industry practice.
Claims for missing or damaged items must be made within 24 hours of delivery or collection.
04. Pickup & Delivery
- We aim to collect and deliver within the scheduled time slots. However, delays caused by traffic, weather, or vehicle breakdowns are sometimes unavoidable.
- If you are not available at the agreed time, a redelivery fee may apply.
- You may leave items with a concierge or reception at your own risk. Our responsibility begins when our agent collects the bag and ends when we deliver it to the designated location.
05. Unclaimed Items
Items must be collected or accepted for delivery within 30 days of the "Ready Date." Rich Wash reserves the right to donate or dispose of garments that have not been claimed after 90 days to recover storage and processing costs.
06. Pricing & Payment
All payments must be settled upon delivery or collection unless a corporate credit account has been approved. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, though we strive to keep our rates reasonable and affordable.
